Boylestone Methodist Church
Boylestone is a small and welcoming fellowship, in a rural location close to Boylestone village.
Both the Church and Retreat Room have been refurbished and are now one large room, although partitioning is still possible. Pews have been replaced by comfortable chairs which allow much greater flexibility for events beyond traditional worship, including larger gatherings of up to 45 people. Events such as concerts are now possible as well as quiet days and other gatherings. The Church has a well-equipped kitchen and a toilet.
As a Retreat Centre, it is available for hire by outside organisations or by individuals wishing to find peace and space in beautiful countryside.
Boylestone is a small scattered rural community on the southern boundary of the Derbyshire Dales in the Midlands of England. Whilst these days many residents work away from the village in a wide variety of occupations, farming still plays a significant part. There are both dairy and arable farms in the surrounding area.
Services
Fortnightly at 2pm on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.
Normally, Holy Communion is celebrated on the second Sunday of each month.
Other services are arranged as required.

3rd Saturday of the month, 10am - 12noon
Coffee, Tea and Sale of produce.
Special Events
In addition to the worship each month, other acts of worship take place to mark special occasions. These may be in conjunction with the associated Retreat and Heritage Centre which is housed in the same building. With the refurbishment almost completed, it is hoped that concerts may be developed in the larger worship space.
Retreat Centre
Boylestone Methodist Church is registered with the Retreat Association, through Reflect as a small retreat centre and, as such, is available for quiet days and other meetings where peace and tranquillity in beautiful countryside is appreciated. Since the refurbishment, the Retreat and Heritage Centre now can accommodate up to 45 people and has a kitchen and toilet. It is available for Quiet Days, formal Retreats or larger meetings of people who wish to find peace and refreshment in beautiful countryside. The acoustics support musical concerts; it is intended that WiFi will be available shortly.
